During this week's CSI update, we remind you that November and December are historically strong months for Invisalign case starts, making consistent patient communication essential. One strategy highlighted is offering a limited-time $500 year-end discount to patients who previously attended a consultation but did not begin treatment. By emailing this offer to your patients from December 1st to 15th and positioning it as available for the first five patients (while quietly honoring it for more), clinics often secure an additional 5–10 case starts during this period.

There is also an important reminder about the upcoming Foundational Systems of Clear Aligners course, taking place December 12–14 in Las Vegas, with special pricing available for Clearly Select members. Finally, this week’s Pathways segment focuses on implementing an Invisalign Champion structure in your practice, an approach that designates both a Clinical and Administrative Champion to help drive Invisalign growth and support your treatment goals.

The update highlights the importance of choosing Invisalign Champions who act as part of management, not as representatives bringing staff complaints upward. You must decide between two implementation models: a small pilot group of top performers or appointing one clinical and one administrative champion to support full-office adoption. Practice size guides the recommendation: offices with 4 chairs or fewer should roll out changes to the entire team, those with 14–20 chairs should begin with a small group, and mid-sized practices can go either way. And champions may start with combined responsibilities and a larger initial incentive, with additional team incentives added later if the full-office implementation follows.
